I taught English Evening Exchange (EEE) at Brigham Young University-Hawaii, an immersive program for TESOL majors to gain practical teaching experience. In this role, I taught international freshmen students key language skills, focusing on speaking, reading, and listening. The experience allowed me to design and implement lessons that encouraged active participation and real-world communication practice.

Reflecting on this experience, I realize how pivotal it was in shaping my teaching philosophy. It deepened my understanding of the unique challenges faced by second language learners and gave me the confidence to adapt lessons to diverse learner needs. Teaching in such an immersive setting also reinforced my passion for language education, making me more committed to helping students achieve their language goals.
