Do you agree with Khan's vision of personalized learning? Why or Why not?

With the increasing development and progress of technology in every aspect of society, many have feared the possibility that these technological advancements will soon replace human effort and intelligence. Consequently, some abhor the use of particular inventions and technologies that pose a threat to their work. In my opinion, technology is not inherently evil, but it's also not entirely beneficial. Humans remain the agents of their success and work.

Khan Academy believes that "virtual [and technology] is not in competition with the physical, [but] they can complement each other." This is what I appreciate about Khan Academy – it utilizes technology and the digital space to supplement the resources available to educators. Khan Academy leverages the digital space and pedagogical strategies while aiming for a personalized and individualized approach to teaching, enabling students to learn things they are specifically interested in at their own pace and in their own way.

To me, this approach demonstrates the flexibility and versatility of teachers, reflecting their capacity to adapt to the ever-growing development of technology and not see it as a hindrance to their success in providing quality education to students.

What features did you like in Google Classroom? Didn't like? What could be improved?

I like how Google Classroom is easy to navigate. This feature makes it easy for users who are new to digital classrooms to locate things that they need to do. For students, the Google Classroom offers a feature where announcements are visible without clicking many buttons. This feature increases the chances for students to not miss important class announcements. For teachers, Google Classroom provides an interface where they can attach links if they want to use it in a module for their class. For me, Google Classroom should have options to design the online classroom so that young students will not get bored with the interface.

I think that the problem is learning how to navigate the good in technology. Becuase it is so heavily abused it is sometimes hard to see the good. But i agree it is beneficial.

I agree that technology isn't all good or bad, and Khan Academy's approach combining it with traditional teaching is a good balance. In Google Classroom, I like the easy navigation and visible announcements for students, but it could be improved with more options for younger students to stay engaged.

Like the passage and how it highlighted the potential benefits of technology when used to complement traditional teaching methods, rather than replacing them. It also highlighted the important of adaptability and the role of teaching in effectively integrating technology into education.
